Our June 14th Gathering

In preparation for our concert in Fremont later this month, we’ll use our June gathering as a rehearsal. After we break for tea and snacks, we’ll play some of the tunes Alan shared in his Tune Tales blog this season. Click here for the music.

Upcoming Concert in Fremont

When: Saturday, June 20th, 6pm

Where: Fremont Meeting House. 464 Main Street, Fremont, NH 03044

Arrival time: Be in place and ready for sound check at 5pm.

Attire: All black, or black with plaid.

Setlist Update: Because this concert will be shorter than our previous two, we will be removing a couple of sets for time. Click here for the most up-to-date setlist.

• Strathspey Set will be cut

• Ships Set will be cut

• MSR in A will be moved to just before the finale, and Annie will skip it if we’re running out of time.

Board Appointed Member Needed

The Board needs to appoint a one-year member in June. This is a small commitment. We meet on the first Wednesday of the month, on Zoom, for an hour or less. Members make decisions, as a group of 7, on programs, website changes, and any other policy issues.

This is an all-volunteer organization. We need you! Please think about it! Thanks!

Scholarships Reminder

We received two grants for scholarships this year. Any member who wants to attend a summer program, take lessons, take online courses, etc. is welcome to apply.

Join Us for Board Meetings

Ever wonder what your Board does? Join us for Board Meetings! All meetings are open to our members. We meet (usually) the first Wednesday of the month at 7 PM on Zoom. Meetings are an hour or less and we would welcome anyone who is interested to see how we run the organization. Send an email to nhscottishmusic@gmail.com and we’ll send you the Zoom link.
