Tune Library
SMC has a vast library of written music, reflecting the many tunes we have learned and performed over the years.
These are provided as PDFs in a Google Docs filing system.
Steps to find a tune in the tune library
1) Look up the tune in the tune library index. It’s alphabetical, and may contain more than one setting for the tune.
The tunes library catalogues tunes in this format:
Book —Number—Tune Name— Tune Type—Key
Example:
(V4) — 22.01— Aird Ranters, The— Strathspey—Am
2) Go to the library, select the tune’s Book Number (as listed in the index).
3) In the book, scroll to the tune number.
4) Access / download the tune.
