Recent Tunes
Tune Library
SMC has a large library of sheet music, reflecting the many tunes we have learned and performed over the years.
These are saved as PDF files in a Google Drive folder system.
Steps to view a tune in the Tune Library
1) Search for the tune in the Tune Index. The pdf file is alphabetical, and may contain more than one setting for the tune; use the spreadsheet file to perform more complex searches.
The tunes library catalogues tunes in this format:
Book —Number—Tune Name— Tune Type—Key
Example:
(V4) — 22.01— Aird Ranters, The— Strathspey—Am
2) Go to the library, select the tune’s Book Number (as listed in the Tune Index).
3) In the correct book, scroll to the tune number and select it.
4) View / download the tune.
